Arteta Crowned Best Premier League Coach

Mikel Arteta was present in Sardinia to receive his Best Premier League Coach award at the first European edition of an event organized since 2010 by a Dubai-based football entity responsible for the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards. This European segment, held in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, selects certain winners to compete in the global year-end Dubai Globe Soccer Awards in the United Arab Emirates.

Mikel’s Proud Moment

Mikel, flanked by former Gunner Cesc Fabregas, was awarded his trophy in recognition of his outstanding management, which led the team to a historic 28 victories in the Premier League season, accumulating 89 points. The team also maintained 18 clean sheets, a testament to the solid defensive strategy and dynamic style of play he has cultivated.

Upon receiving his award, Mikel expressed his profound satisfaction, reflecting on his transition from player to coach. He admitted to feeling even more passionate about football in his coaching role than he did as a player. He extended his gratitude to his players, the coaching staff, and everyone at the club for their unwavering support and inspiration throughout their journey together, which began four years ago. Mikel remains hopeful and enthusiastic about leading the team to the pinnacle of success and adding many more trophies to their collection.

Unwavering Ambition and Night of Winners

“Our team, brimming with enthusiasm and a deep hunger for success, has been in the making for several years. Aware of our competitors, we remain confident in our capability to triumph and are committed to fully pursuing victory.”

The evening also celebrated notable achievements, including Kylian Mbappe receiving the Best Men’s Player award, Xabi Alonso honored as Best Coach, and Harry Kane winning Best Goalscorer.
