After a successful stint with Cucine Lube Civitanova, where he earned silver at the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship and claimed several domestic accolades, including the 2022 Italian national title, Zaytsev now embarks on a new chapter.

A Glorious Career Spanning Italy, Russia, and Qatar

Zaytsev, 35, boasts an illustrious career, having played for several top-tier Italian clubs such as Perugia, Rome, Latina, and Modena, as well as teams in Russia and Qatar. His extensive medal collection includes the 2015 CEV Cup, three Italian national championship titles, a national cup trophy, and three national super cup victories. Internationally, he has secured silver medals in the CEV Champions League and the Asian Men’s Club Championship, solidifying his legacy as one of the sport’s most iconic figures.

From Beach Volleyball Back to Indoor

Before rejoining the indoor volleyball circuit, Zaytsev recently made headlines by winning the national beach volleyball championship in Italy. His return to the hard court with Vero Volley signals a thrilling conclusion to his decorated volleyball career, as he aims to make his final SuperLega season one to remember.
