2025 Men’s Volleyball World Championship Pool Draw Set for September 14

The 32 teams participating in the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship will discover their group stage opponents on September 14, 2024. The draw will take place at the Solaire Hotel in Manila, Philippines, and will be streamed live on VBTV and the Volleyball World YouTube channel. Local broadcaster TV Cignal will also cover the event, which is set to begin at 20:30 local time (12:30 UTC).

Teams and Pool Formation

A total of 32 teams, including powerhouse nations like Brazil, Italy, France, and the United States, will compete. The teams will be divided into eight pools of four in a single round-robin format. The host nation, the Philippines, will be seeded as the leader of Pool A, while the top seven ranked teams will head the remaining pools. The other teams will be placed in each pool based on their world ranking, determining positions 2, 3, and 4.

The event marks a significant milestone for volleyball fans worldwide, as they eagerly await which teams will clash in the first phase of the World Championship.
