Liverpool Eye Antonee Robinson Amid Late January Transfer Window Activity

Reds Prepare Move for Fulham Full-Back

With only one week left in the January transfer window Liverpool are reportedly preparing a bid for Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson as a potential long-term successor to Andy Robertson.

TEAMTalk reports that discussions about Robertson’s possible move to Tottenham Hotspur have been postponed after Liverpool failed to recall Kostas Tsimikas from his loan at Roma. While an exit for Robertson remains possible the club are exploring options to strengthen the position regardless.

Robinson was on Liverpool’s radar last summer before they signed Milos Kerkez but sources indicate the interest persists. The USA international is understood to be keen on a move to Anfield and a bid could arrive before the window closes on February 2nd at 7pm.

Triple Deal Possibility with Fulham Emerges

The same report suggests Fulham are monitoring two Liverpool players in Harvey Elliott and Kostas Tsimikas. Elliott is currently on loan at Aston Villa but has struggled for starts remaining on the bench during their recent Premier League match against Newcastle.

Tsimikas would need to cut short his Roma loan to feature in any deal. Early discussions between the clubs for potential summer moves are believed to be underway and a package involving Robinson could emerge as a triple transfer opportunity.

Recent Setback and Upcoming Fixtures

Liverpool suffered a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium with Amine Adil scoring a 95th-minute winner. The result extends their winless run in the Premier League to five matches.

The Reds return to action on Wednesday against Qarabag in the Champions League before hosting Newcastle at Anfield next weekend. Whether any incoming or outgoing transfers materialise before then remains uncertain but the club continue to be linked with activity in both directions.
