The incident occurred as Lee was driving home after the match, and emergency services were swiftly on the scene. Lee was rushed to the hospital for treatment, though the club confirmed that he did not suffer any major injuries.
The crash also involved another car, and the driver of that vehicle was also taken to the hospital for medical attention. Wrexham AFC expressed gratitude for the quick response from the emergency services.

In an official statement, the club reassured fans that Lee’s injuries were not severe. “Emergency services were quickly on the scene and the club would like to thank them for their prompt response and action,” the statement read.
