Chelsea striker Liam Delap will miss the Premier League match against Tottenham after his dismissal against Wolves in the Carabao Cup. Red cards in the Premier League and EFL Cup carry over to a team’s next match in domestic competition. How suspensions work across competitions
Red cards in the Premier League and EFL Cup apply to the next domestic match on the calendar. In the FA Cup, red card suspensions are served only within that competition. Yellow card bans in the EFL Cup are competition specific and do not affect the Premier League or FA Cup.
