Holders Chelsea face London derby against Spurs

Defending champions Chelsea will host Tottenham Hotspur in the quarter-finals of the Women’s FA Cup. Spurs advanced after a dramatic penalty shootout win over London City Lionesses on Monday. The fifth-round tie ended 2-2 after extra time before Spurs prevailed 9-8 from the spot.

Chelsea booked their place on Sunday with a 2-1 extra-time victory over Manchester United. Defender Naomi Girma scored the decisive goal to send the holders through.

Other key ties in the quarter-finals

WSL 2 side Birmingham City will welcome league leaders Manchester City in another intriguing matchup. Brighton & Hove Albion travel to face 14-time FA Cup winners Arsenal.

Charlton Athletic the current WSL 2 leaders will host top-flight strugglers Liverpool.

All quarter-final ties are scheduled for Sunday 5 April. The draw sets up several compelling clashes as teams battle for a place in the semi-finals of the prestigious competition.
