Bournemouth has successfully negotiated a £12.6 million transfer fee with Juventus for defender Dean Huijsen. The deal, potentially rising to £15.2 million, brings the 19-year-old centre-back to the Premier League, marking him as Bournemouth’s sixth summer signing alongside Luis Sinisterra, Enes Unal, Alex Paulsen, Daniel Jebbison, and Koby Mottoh.

Dean Huijsen’s Journey

Dean Huijsen, originally from the Netherlands, has had an impressive journey in his young career. Having played for the Dutch national age groups up to the Under-19 level, he moved to Spain at a young age, gaining Spanish citizenship this year and making his Under-21 debut in March. His early career included stints at Costa Unida and Malaga before joining Juventus three years ago, where he initially played for their Under-17 team.

Professional Milestones

Huijsen made his debut for Juventus against AC Milan in October, his only appearance for the club, before being loaned to Roma for the second half of last season. During his time with Roma, he made 13 appearances and scored twice, demonstrating his potential and skill on the field.
