Jake Paul to Face MMA Star Mike Perry on July 20th

Originally scheduled to battle Mike Tyson in July, Jake Paul’s plans have shifted due to Tyson’s need to delay their match to November. Instead, Paul will face former MMA fighter and current bare knuckle sensation Mike Perry on the originally planned date of July 20th.

Mike Perry, who has a record of 0-1 in boxing, 14-8 in MMA, and 5-0 in bare knuckle fighting, quickly became a viral sensation in the UFC for his devastating knockouts and unique personality, often perceived as unconventional and eccentric. After a decline in performance with several losses, Perry left the UFC in 2021. He has since found remarkable success in bare knuckle boxing, with notable victories over high-profile fighters like Michael Page, Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvarez, and Thiago Alves.

Upcoming MMA Highlights

On paper, he is Paul’s most daunting MMA challenge yet. Previously fighting in the UFC at 170 pounds and occasionally competing at the middleweight limit of 185 pounds, his size should not be significantly less than Paul’s, unlike past opponents such as Tyron Woodley.

Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KO) is set to face Katie Taylor again in a November rematch but will first take on Stevie Morgan (14-1, 13 KO). Despite Morgan’s impressive record of six consecutive first-round KOs, the quality of her opponents is questionable, as four of them from Colombia have a total of 43 stoppage losses combined.

Additionally, Tony Aguilar (12-0-1,

4 KO) is scheduled for a rematch with Corey Marksman (9-0-1, 7 KO) following their draw in February.
