Beterbiev vs. Bivol: Undisputed Light Heavyweight Title Fight

For the first time in the four-belt era, two light heavyweight champions will face off for the undisputed championship. On Saturday, October 12, Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs), who holds the WBC, WBO, and IBF titles, will take on WBA champion Dmitry Bivol (23-0, 12 KOs) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This highly anticipated bout will unify all the major 175-pound titles.

The Road to the Fight

Originally scheduled for June 1, the fight was postponed due to a knee injury sustained by Beterbiev, which required surgery. While Beterbiev recovered, Bivol fought Malik Zinad and secured a sixth-round TKO victory. Bivol, known for his technical style, has only one stoppage win in his last ten fights, while Beterbiev boasts a perfect knockout record, making him the only champion in boxing with a 100% KO ratio.

Undercard Fights

The Beterbiev vs. Bivol fight will headline a stellar card, featuring two additional title bouts. Jai Opetaia will defend his IBF cruiserweight title against Jack Massey, and Skye Nicolson will put her WBC featherweight belt on the line against Raven Chapman.
