LeBron James Faces Shooting Struggles in Lakers’ Loss to Timberwolves

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers endured a crushing 109-80 defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. James, who had just 10 points, continued to struggle offensively, shooting only 4-of-16 from the field. Worse yet, he missed all four of his three-point attempts, marking 19 consecutive misses from beyond the arc.

James’ shooting slump has been ongoing, with the superstar scoring fewer than 20 points in five of his last six games. Additionally, his shooting percentage has dipped below 45% in those contests. After the game, James, who recently played his 1,800th career game, was blunt when asked about his struggles. His two-word response was telling: “It’s everything.”

James on His Struggles

When asked to elaborate, James revealed his frustration: “It’s the rhythm. I just feel off rhythm the last few, three or four games.” Despite his current shooting woes, the Lakers remain in contention with a 12-9 record, though James is clearly searching for answers as he heads into the upcoming matchup against the Miami Heat.

The 39-year-old veteran will be hoping to regain his form soon, as the Lakers will need their star player to perform at his best moving forward.
